Driver Of Coast Road Motorcycle Incident Fighting For His Life At Mater Dei
The driver of this morning’s Coast Road traffic incident is currently at Mater Dei fighting for his life after he sustained serious injuries.
Today, at around 6.45am, the police were informed of an accident in Naxxar wherein two 28-year-olds from San Pawl il-Baħar needed their help.
Upon surveying the scene, the police discovered that their motorcycle – an Aprilia SR125 – collided with a roundabout.
The men then received help from a medical team before being rushed to hospital by ambulance. It was later confirmed that the driver had suffered serious injuries while the passenger sustained none.
Duty Magistrate Monica Vella has opened an inquiry while police investigations are currently ongoing.
