Malta’s Grand Harbour Marina in Vittoriosa is currently playing host to one of the world’s most luxurious superyachts — the Mayan Queen IV, a 93-metre vessel valued at around €175 million.

With sleek lines and towering decks, the yacht is making waves as it sits moored beneath the historic bastions of Birgu.

Built by renowned German shipyard Blohm + Voss and launched in 2008, the yacht was originally commissioned by the late Mexican billionaire Alberto Baillères.

Designed with both privacy and indulgence in mind, the Mayan Queen IV features a helipad, full wellness centre, swimming pool, panoramic lounge decks, and lavish interiors by world-renowned designer Terence Disdale.

Exterior styling is by Tim Heywood, whose past work includes yachts owned by royalty and business tycoons.
