A 65-year-old man unfortunately passed away after falling while he was walking in the White Rocks area in Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq this morning.

At around 9am, police officials were contacted for assistance. Upon arriving to the scene, they discovered the elderly man – a resident of Raħal Ġdid – who fell while walking on some rocks near the sea.

A medical team was called to the scene but unfortunately, he was certified dead.

Magistrate Philip Galea Farrugia was informed of the case and opened an inquiry while police investigations are ongoing.
