Elderly Man Dies Two Weeks After Alleged Care Home Assault In Fgura

88‑year‑old Giuseppe Perini, has died in hospital two weeks after an alleged unprovoked assault by his roommate in a care home in Fgura.

Perini was a resident of Dar San Ġużepp in Fgura and had been hospitalised following the attack. His family say the assailant was known for aggressive behaviour.

His wife, Antonia Perini, aged 78, confirmed his passing and spoke of the tragic ordeal her husband endured.

The family has filed a judicial protest against the care home over the incident.
