Elderly Woman Pulled Out Of Car After Rabat Traffic Accident

An elderly woman had to be pulled out of a vehicle by authorities after a collision with a wall blocked her from getting out.

The incident happened this morning at around 11am on Triq Għeriexem, Rabat, when a 57-year-old woman and San Ġwann resident lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a wall.

According to a police spokesperson, the driver didn’t seem to sustain any injuries, however her 83-year-old passenger, also a San Ġwann resident, had to be taken to hospital. Due to the positioning of the car, the elderly woman had to be pulled out of the vehicle.

Her condition is currently unknown.
