For The Kids: Local Bikers Organise Charity Ride In Aid Of Residential Homes For Children

A group of local bikers from the La Vallette Malta Harley Davidson group gave back to the community last Sunday, having organised a charity ride in aid of children’s homes.

During their ride, the bikers visited various children’s institutes across the island, giving a total of 120 children a ‘borża ta’ San Martin’, a bag filled with a mix of nuts and fruit, associated with Saint Martin’s generosity.

The idea originated from the Ladies of Harley, who form part of the group, having organised several activities in order to raise money this past month.

Any excess amounts raised will be donated to Dar tal-Providenza, the group stated.

Also contributing to this initiative was the Etna Harley Davidson Group from Sicily, who donated to the cause.
