The 33-year-old Portelli dropped out of university to work at his father’s truck repair business before eventually hitting it big with tech startups in Los Angeles.

Initially planning to start a celebrity limousine business in the US, Portelli found himself struggling to pay rent and resorted to advertising for a boarder.

Fortunately, his new flatmate turned out to be a tech genius who collaborated with Portelli on developing successful apps, which they eventually sold for a massive price tag.

Portelli now works in online promotions based in Melbourne, where he runs LMCT+, a business he began in 2018 that raffles boats, cars, and houses.

His most recent property acquisitions include a Gold Coast mansion – with a $2.3 million price tag – alongside other estates in Queensland, and a record-setting $39 million penthouse in Melbourne.

However, Portelli’s real estate investments are not his only claims to fame.

His involvement in the reality television series, ‘The Block’, saw him infamously dubbed the “Lambo Guy” when he arrived at an auction driving a bright yellow Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.

Despite his wealth and fame, Portelli remains intact with his Maltese roots. Born in Australia to parents originally from Nadur, Gozo, he still has relatives living in Malta and Gozo.

Besides luxury cars and prime real estate, Portelli devotes time and resources to charity work through The Little Legends Foundation – supporting Australian children suffering from chronic illnesses and disabilities.

Adrian Portelli’s incredible trajectory, from family truck repair businessman to internationally known millionaire is a testament to his determination, business acumen, and ability to adapt to and seize opportunities as they present themselves.
