Gozo Business Chamber Expresses Concern Over Ferry Chaos
The Gozo Business Chamber has expressed serious concern over the ongoing disruptions affecting Gozo Channel services. While the Chamber affirms that the rights of workers must be protected, it emphasises the urgent need to address the current situation.
Recent delays have led to long queues, service cancellations, and significant travel disruptions, causing inconvenience to both residents of Gozo and those who rely on the ferry for work, study, or essential services unavailable on the island.
“For Gozitans, the Gozo Channel is not just a transport service; it is a lifeline we depend on daily,” the Chamber said. “Delays and cancellations have a direct impact on our community and the economy.”
The Chamber is urging all parties involved to come together immediately to resolve the issues affecting ferry operations and restore reliable service for the public.
