In Photos: Scene Where Irish Murder Suspect Was Shot In St Julian’s
An Irish man was shot and killed by police officials earlier this morning after he allegedly killed a woman in her apartment in Birkirkara.
The murder likely happened with a knife at around 2am before the aggressor fled to St Julian’s. Here, he was located by police before he ran down to the rocks of a beach located between the Hilton and the Westin Dragonara Resort.
The man, who does not live in Malta began waving a weapon at the police who subsequently shot him. He died shortly after.
Investigations into the murder are currently ongoing.
