The death of Karin Grech’s mother, Pearl, was announced earlier today.

Karin Grech was the 15-year-old girl who was killed by a letter-bomb that was addressed to her father 48 years ago. No one has ever been convicted for her murder.

Pearl was married to Professor Edwin Grech who passed away on 15th March 2023. The couple met in England where Pearl was born and lived until she moved to Malta together with Edwin.Apart from Karin, the couple had another child, their son Kevin.
