Karmenu Muscat, the man who tragically lost his life at the Park and Ride in Floriana, will be given his final farewell this Saturday 2nd August at 8.45am at the Collegiate Church of Maria Bambina in Naxxar.

His son Clint wrote on social media that the family wants to give him a final farewell “and fondly remember his life.”

Karmenu, who was a resident of Naxxar and a father of two, was a great enthusiast of the village feast, where he used to spend a lot of time helping with the decorations and also carried the titular statue of Maria Bambina.

In addition to this, in 1980 he represented Malta at the Olympic Games held in Moscow. Karmenu took part in the individual race and the cycling Team Time Trial.

Lovin Malta extends its condolences to Karmenu’s family.
