After Rescuing 400 Kittens, These Maltese Cat Fosterers Need Your Help To Buy A Van
Maltese cat fosterers who work tirelessly for the island’s strays are in need of your help in order to purchase a van to continue their rescue missions.
Kitty Guardians for Strays, a local voluntary organisation, has rescued more than 400 kittens this year alone.
It’s also rescued 55 feline mothers, neutered over 600 strays, and provided treatment to over 100 cats who were suffering from dental or other issues.
Now, they’re in urgent need of acquiring a van, to make their rescue missions easier and continue helping strays all over the island.
“We cannot reach our full potential with my own current vehicle. We usually have to do countless multiple trips back and forth from location to the vet and the shelter,” Miriam Borg DeBrincat told Lovin Malta.
The fosterers are now appealing for any possible help, be it donations made to the organisation, or any company or entity that would like to provide a new van.
They also clarified that the van doesn’t need to be new, but a secondhand one will do as well, as long as it’s automatic.
If you would like to help out, you can send in a donation either via BOV, Paypal, or a bank transfer, writing #van.
