L-Istrina Telethon Collects Over €5 Million For Malta’s Community Chest Fund
More than €5 million were donated to Malta’s annual charity telethon!
This telethon goes over 12 hours on Boxing Day and collects money for the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation.
This year’s amount surpassed 2022, as in that year €5,062,415 were raised.
During this telethon, Maltese personalities, politicians, President George Vella, and his wife received phone calls yesterday.
Besides these continuous phone calls yesterday, €155,000 were donated by consumers through BCRS, September’s Rockestra collected €233,615 and another event raised €142,310.
The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation supports individuals and entities to improve the health, quality of life and well-being of people in their time of need.
