Local Photographer Captures Breathtaking Shot Of Strawberry Moon Behind Mdina

A breathtaking shot captured by Joseph Galea of the full Strawberry Moon setting behind Malta’s old capital of Mdina was captured this morning at around 5:20am.

This was a record breaking low-lying phenomenon that hasn’t been seen since 2006, and won’t be as low till 2043.

Galea has taken a great number of the amazing shots of the Moon and the Sun against iconic Maltese landmarks over the years.
