“Malta Kollha Warajk:” Miss Universe National Director Sends Heartfelt Message To Ella Portelli As Finale Approaches
As the finale of Miss Universe approaches… Malta’s national director has written a heartfelt message to Ella Portelli.
“Ella – or now you got used to being called Malta – As National Director, I would like to wish you all the very best for tonight’s Miss Universe grand finale,” Alan Darmanin wrote, I have witnessed first-hand your true dedication, hard work and will power to become the transformational leader you are today.”
He continued wishing Ella the best and stating how Ella deserves more than a crown, “I know that the biggest wish for both of us is to have that first-ever placement for Malta, but you have already earned the placement in everyone’s hearts.”
Darmanin encouraged Miss Universe Malta to enjoy the last few hours and cherish the new friends she’s made through the competition, and concluded by saying, “Good luck! Malta kollha warajk.”
Yesterday Portelli stunned the costume competition with a butterfly costume sending a message to Malta’s over-development issue, and also walked the catwalk as a “Golden Goddess.”
Tonight is the final night of the competition, where Miss Universe 2023 will be crowned in El Salvador.
