Malta Public Transport Announces Shuttle Service For Imnarja Festival

Malta Public Transport has announced special shuttle services for the annual traditional Imnarja fest taking place in Buskett on 28th and 29th June.
The service is designed to offer an alternative and convenient transport option for attendees, which includes parking in designated areas. All personalised Tallinja Card holders can travel free of charge on these special service trips.
To facilitate travel, Malta Public Transport will be operating regular shuttle services from two Park and Ride locations: one based in Infetti Road, Rabat and the other in Ta’ Qali, next to the open-air gym. The service departing from Ta’ Qali will pass through Infetti Road on the way to Buskett, while a separate service will run directly from Infetti Road to Buskett; return shuttles from Buskett will operate to both starting points.
This special service will operate between 5pm and 3am on the 28th June, and between 5.30am and 2pm on 29th June.
An additional shuttle service will also be available from Ċirkewwa to Buskett and vice versa. On 28th June 2025, the service will depart from Ċirkewwa at 5.30pm, returning from Buskett at 9.15pm.
On 29th June, the shuttle departs Ċirkewwa at 7.30am, returning from Buskett at 1.30pm. Passengers are advised to arrive at the designated bus stops on time to ensure a smooth and timely departure. For further details relating to departure times and other updates, please visit Malta Public Transport’s website and social media channels.
The Shuttle Services are designed to improve the overall experience of the Imnarja celebration, making it more accessible and enjoyable for everyone attending.
By choosing the Park and Ride option, passengers can help reduce traffic congestion while benefiting from a smoother, more convenient journey to and from Buskett.
