MaltaToday Publishes Vitals Healthcare Inquiry
Maltese newsroom Malta Today has published the full procès-verbal of the magisterial inquiry into the Vitals Healthcare hospitals deal that has taken the island by storm these last four weeks.
The document is a 1,200-page report consisting of the findings of the magistrate while investigating this complex case. Not all of the evidence is included.
Upon its conclusion, the document was passed on to the Attorney General who has full control over whether the magistrate’s recommendations for charges are carried through – in this case, the AG decided to prosecute everyone the magistrate Gabriella Vella suggested.
That being said, not everyone mentioned in the inquiry is suspected to be guilty of wrongdoing.
