MaltaPost To Issue Commemorative Stamp Of Late Pope Francis

In memory of the late Pope Francis, MaltaPost will be issuing a new stamp this weekend.

This comes after the passing of His Holiness on Easter Monday 21st April at the age of 88. Pope Francis had a close relationship with the Maltese islands following his visit to Malta and Gozo in 2022.

He also appointed Bishop Mario Grech to the rank of cardinal on 28th November of the same year.

The new stamp will be available from all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo as from Saturday 26th April.
