Maltese Kickboxing Team Secures Multiple Wins At World United Martial Arts Championships
Local kickboxing team Wu Shu Ky is making Malta proud with their outstanding performance at the World Championships of the World United Martial Arts (WUMA) held in Argos, Greece.
The competition, which unfolded over the weekend, witnessed these athletes showcasing their remarkable skills and unwavering determination, ultimately leading to their victory.
Under the guidance of Sensei Alan Borg and with the dedication of other club instructors, the team achieved two first-place rankings, secured by Jake Fenech and Luca Aquilina.
Additionally, another fight resulted in a close second-place finish for Lucas, while regrettably, one contestant couldn’t compete due to the opponent’s injury.
Having undergone rigorous training for the past two months in preparation for this event, Wu Shu Ky has certainly reaped the rewards with these impressive results.
