Maltese Model Will Walk In Milan Fashion Week After Smashing International Competition In Barcelona
Miriana Tonna has just been selected to walk at Milan and Istanbul Fashion Week after winning Miss VW Best Model of Universe at an international competition in Barcelona.
That wasn’t her only success of the night though, with Tonna also receiving the title of Best Catwalk of the Evening.
Tonna was joined by another seven Maltese models at the Best Model of the Universe 2023 held in Lloret del Mar.
All eight stunners come from Vipaj Agency.
Among the nearly 300 contestants, the Spanish stage saw Dolce & Gabanna and Armani models walking with several renowned stylists.
The competition was organised by Italian “patron” Rosario Stagno and it had seven categories ranging from babies to 57-year-old women.
The stunning Maltese models coming from the Vipay Agency had several successes in various categories. Such as Best Model of the Universe Kids category received by Samaya Minchino, Best Glamour received by Kayleigh Attard, and Best Elegance received by Nikole Buhagiar.
And besides winning some impressive titles, some of the Maltese superstars were chosen as ambassadors for international clothing brands.
In fact, Tonna was selected by the Italian designer Pepe Kosca and the Belgian brand Van Elste. While Mariah Muscat was chosen to represent Ukrainian stylist Vlada Vizik.
