Maltese Start-Up Hotjar Acquires British Company Ping Pong

Hotjar, a Maltese start-up company, has acquired Ping Pong, which is a user interviews platform, headquartered in London.

Hotjar helps platforms understand how their users navigate through their websites, and highlights which areas on the site are more frequently viewed.

With this information, companies can restructure their websites in ways that will benefit their motives and help make them more accessible.

Through heatmaps, which is tracking where the cursor goes on the screen, Hotjar provides an accurate depiction of what consumers are more interested in.

Ping Pong, now owned by Hotjar, helps companies build the most user-friendly products, by allowing user-interview to be held remotely.

This allows the creator of a product to see the product through the user’s eyes. This further benefits the consumer, for they are able to be part of the UX research.

This news marks huge progress and potential for Maltese start-up companies!
