Man Charged At MIA After Police Discover Stuffed Birds In Suitcase
A 68-year-old man has been taken into police custody after police and Environment and Resources officers discovered numerous stuffed birds in his luggage.
The dutch man was caught as he was making his way to his flight to the UK, according to the police.
Thirteen out of fifteen stuffed birds were protected by international law.
The man was charged before Magistrate Jospeh Gatt and pleaded guilty.
The offender remains in police custody.
