Man Fighting For His Life After Accident In Burmarrad
A 57-year-old Żebbuġ resident is fighting for his life after getting into a traffic accident in Burmarrad yesterday afternoon.
Police were informed of the incident at 12pm and soon discovered that he got into a crash while driving his motorcycle – a Kymco Downtown – with a 31-year-old man and resident of Mosta who was driving a Toyota Hilux.
The motorcycle driver was helped by a medical team before being taken to Mater Dei by ambulance. His injuries were certified as serious at the hospital.
Magistrate Philip Galea Farrugia was informed of the case and opened an inquiry as police investigations are currently ongoing.
