Man In Critical Condition After Jumping Off A Boat In Comino
A 44-year-old Polish man was critically injured after he and a 12-year-old boy jumped from a boat and fell on each other.
Police were informed of the incident yesterday at around 3pm, they were called for assistance in the Mġarr Port in Gozo.
The man received first aid by members of the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps and was then taken to the port where an ambulance drove him to the Gozo General Hospital.
Here, his injuries were certified as serious and he was transferred to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.
Police Magistrate Simone Grech opened an inquiry while the police continue their investigations into the case.
