Marsa Scouts Pipes And Drums Band Performs At Prestigious Basel Tattoo In Switzerland
Marsa’s own Scouts Pipes and Drums band is currently abroad performing at the prestigious Basel Tattoo 2022 in Switzerland.
The Basel Tattoo is currently celebrating its 15th anniversary, with Marsa’s band representing Malta and the Scouts Group in this event.
This is their second time participating in this prestigious event, with the first time being in 2018. They will be performing as part of the Massed Pipes & Drums, alongside nine other bands.
Daily shows will be taking place every day starting 15th July until 23rd July, with a street parade around the city of Basel happening on the 16th, with over 100,000 spectators lined along the route.
Basel Tattoo is an annual military tattoo show performed by International military bands, display teams, popular musicians, and tattoo formations in Basel, Switzerland.
The cast is made up of 1,000 performers, coming from various other countries such as South Africa, Australia, Scotland, India, and Switzerland.
