MIA Becomes Second European Airport To Achieve Level 4 Certification In Customer Experience

The Malta International Airport (MIA) has just announced it has achieved Level 4 Certification in the ACI World Airport Customer Experience Accreditation programme.
This means that Malta’s own airport is the second in Europe to achieve this, following Istanbul Airport, and the fifth worldwide to reach this prestigious level.
The airport’s management expressed how they are beyond thrilled about the certification, highlighting it as a reflection of their “ongoing commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience every step of the way”.
The ACI, which stands for Airports Council International, represents the collective interests of airports around the world to promote excellence in the aviation industry.
The ACI World programme is designed to build airports’ long-term capacity for enhancing customer experience management.
Participating airports undergo a comprehensive review and training process that involves stakeholder and employee engagement, as well as staff development. This intense and rigorous process ensures that airports are equipped to meet the evolving needs of travellers.
The programme offers five levels of accreditation, with five being the highest level of customer management.
