Watch: Moment Truck Overturns In Marsa As Full Timeline Revealed
Exclusive footage of the moment a large truck overturned in Marsa in the early hours of this morning has been shared with Lovin Malta, along with a breakdown of everything that happened right after.
A Transport Malta officer was driving a few metres behind the trailer when it overturned, and stopped to assist immediately, followed by the Transport Malta ORU unit which was on site at 4:37 am, also including a unit from LESA.
Shortly after at 5:04 am, the police district unit arrived on site, followed by the CPD unit which made it by 5:15 am.A crane arrived at 6:37am, and was escorted from Transport Malta MCs.
The road was then closed for lifting operations at 7:18 am, and lifting operations finished by 7:45 am.
At 7:50 am the road was then opened back on two lanes, followed by the arrival of the Enemalta unit at 8:18 am.
Lastly, the slip road from Valletta via Marsa Hamrun Bypass could then be opened for traffic, and was done at 9:45 am.
Infrastructure Malta has already started working on rebuilding the wall.
