More Than 45 Vehicles Stopped And 31 Driver Detained in Traffic Sweep

Earlier today, police carried out routine traffic checks on Triq Burmarrad in San Pawl il-Baħar, stopping more than 45 vehicles.

During the inspections, 31 individuals were detained for residing in the country irregularly. Two drivers were found driving without a valid license, while six others were reported for various other violations.

Officials from Transport Malta, the Agency for Detention Services, Identity, and JobsPlus assisted the police in these checks.

Authorities confirmed that this coordinated effort across multiple sectors will continue in the coming days and weeks.
