Labour MP Alicia Bugeja Said and her husband Malcolm Bugeja have just welcomed their new baby girl into the world.

“Today was the best day of our lives as a new member of the family joined us, making us parents,” Bugeja Said wrote on Facebook. 

“From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank the team at Mater Dei Hospital for their work and dedication, and to all those who have been a great support throughout this journey, especially my husband Malcolm. It’s a girl,” she said.
