A motorcyclist was grievously injured in a traffic accident which occurred last night in Victoria, Gozo, the police announced this morning.

The accident involved a Honda bike and Toyota Ractis, between a 34-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, both residents of Xagħra.

The 34-year-old biker was immediately taken to Gozo’s hospital for treatment for injuries incurred, while the driver was uninjured.

His injuries were later on classified as grievous.
