Motorcyclist In Critical Condition After Collision In Gozo
A 45-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition after a collision with a car being driven by an 86-year-old woman in Xewkija.
Police were informed of the incident in Triq l-Imġarr yesterday at around 8.30pm. The woman, a Xewkija resident, was driving a Toyota Tercel while the man, a Sannat resident, was driving a Benelli motorcycle.
The motorcyclist received help from a medical team before he was rushed to the Gozo General Hospital by ambulance. Here, his condition was certified as serious.
A magistrate has opened an inquiry into the case while police investigations are ongoing.
