Orange Alert Issued As Temperatures In Malta Set To Soar up to 40°C

Malta is in for a serious heatwave this week, with temperatures expected to climb above 36°C, prompting an orange weather alert from health authorities.

The Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Directorate has issued a public advisory urging everyone to take the necessary precautions to stay safe and cool during the extreme heat.

Here’s what they recommend:

🏠 Stay indoors during the hottest part of the day
💧 Drink water regularly to stay hydrated
👕 Wear light, breathable clothing
Avoid sun exposure between 11am and 4pm
