Over 500 Kilos Of Debris Cleared From Ċirkewwa Seabed

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Ian Borg, accompanied by his daughter, visited the Coast Is Clear Foundation’s dive cleanup at Ċirkewwa Marine Park, where 70 volunteers removed an impressive 509kg of debris from the seabed.

“70 volunteers proudly teamed up and collected an incredible 509kgs of debris from the seabed. Fantastic work by all participants,” the Foundation shared on social media.

The initiative highlighted the commitment of volunteers in safeguarding Malta’s fragile yet stunning marine ecosystems, while celebrating the collective effort to keep our seas clean and thriving.
