Patients Evacuated From Gozo General Hospital After Fire Breaks Out
Patients were evacuated from the Gozo General Hospital after a fire broke earlier this morning.
Wards close to the area of the fire were evacuated however officials have already been given the go-ahead to start taking patients in.
The fire broke out at around 8am near the area where the X-ray machines are held close to the emergency department. Officials from the Civil Protection Department and the police were present.
Initial reports suggest there were no injuries so far however it is a little early to tell for sure.
