A 47-year-old man residing in Pietà was arrested after he was found with substances suspected to be cocaine and heroin, and €30,000 worth of cash.

After police investigations were carried out in his home, it was found that he was allegedly preparing the drugs in his residence.

During the raid carried out in his residence, police recovered various instruments used for drug dealing and thousands in cash.

They also found around 100g of suspected cocaine, 60g of suspected heroin, and 500ml of methadone. 

The man is currently in police custody before he will appear in front of Magistrate Noel Bartolo later this morning.
