Police Appeal For Information Related To Diver Death Which Happened Last August In St Paul’s Bay
Police have once again renewed their appeal for information related to driver Christian Degabriele’s death, which occurred last August in St Paul’s Bay.
Eight months after the fatal incident, police are once again appealing for help to gather any information, even saying that he was most probably hit by a boat.
Anyone who might have any information related to the case is being urged to get in touch with the police, even confidentially, by calling 21224001 or 119.
35-year-old Degabriele was found dead after a search and rescue operation by the Armed Forces of Malta and the Police. He was first reported missing on 11th August while he was out diving in St Paul’s Bay.
The beloved father and soldier, who also loved playing football, failed to resurface from the waters, with authorities launching an intensive search until his body was located.
Sources intimate with the case had informed Lovin Malta there is a high possibility that Degabriele died after being hit by a boat – with some even claiming that his diving suit was partly ripped when his body was retrieved.
Others even went so far as to speculate that Degabriele died after being hit by a speeding boat’s propeller.
