In the towns of Żebbuġ, Marsa, Msida, and St Julian’s, the police found four drivers operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol, while seven drivers were caught driving without a valid license.

During the same inspections, 17 vehicles were found to be exceeding the speed limit, and a further 75 violations were issued for various other traffic offences.

LESA officers assisted the police during these spot checks. The Police Force remains committed to conducting regular traffic controls at all times of the day to ensure the safety of everyone using our roads.
