Police are currently looking for an armed robber who stormed into a shop in St Paul’s Bay last night and stole cash from the shop attendant.

The incident occurred at around 9.30pm last night, at a shop situated along Triq ix-Xitwa, St Paul’s Bay.

Preliminary investigations found that the armed and veiled robber went into the shop with a knife and demanded that the 52-year-old woman gave him cash. 

The robber then ran away from the site of the incident.

Thankfully no one was injured, while police investigations are still ongoing for the robber.

Magistrate Marse-Ann Farrugia is leading an inquiry while police investigations are still ongoing.
