Programme Of Activities For Six-Year Anniversary Of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s Assassination Will Be Launched Tomorrow
Ahead of the six-year anniversary of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s tragic assassination, major local activist organisations will be launching the programme of events tomorrow in front of Parliament.
A conference will be held at 9.30am in front of the Valletta building.
“For the second consecutive year, we are collaborating with the Fondazione Falcone to convey our message in favor of what’s right and to resist the havoc that the corrupt forces are wreaking in our country,” co-founder of Repubblika Robert Aquilina wrote.
“From tomorrow morning, you’re going to see a tangible manifestation of our common commitment. We need to continue the fight carried out by Daphne Caruana Galizia in Malta and Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino in Italy.”
The programme will be launched by Repubblika, Occupy Justice, and Manuel Delia.
Over the weekend, there was a protest memorial calling for justice for the journalist.
“A constant flow of tourists looking, reading, and researching on their phones. Dear Daphne – always missed, and forever relevant. Justice is long overdue,” Caruana Galizia’s sister wrote.
