The annual Puttinu Cares’ Good Friday Marathon has officially kicked off.

Last night marked the 19th edition of the Puttinu Walk, where a sea of people joined in the journey from Mellieħa to Floriana, with one man carrying a cross on his back for the entire distance.

The annual fundraiser began its broadcast at 9:15 am and will continue live until 3 pm. The marathon will then resume from 9 pm until midnight, with the aim of assisting more individuals who need to travel abroad for treatment.
