The SiGMA Euro-Med Charity Auction was a night of generosity, high spirits and community spirit, bringing in an impressive €103,500 in aid of the SiGMA Foundation.

Part of the prestigious SiGMA Euro-Med Awards, the auction wasn’t just about glamorous prizes, it was about fuelling projects that are changing lives across the globe. Guests were treated to powerful stories of resilience, hope and the Foundation’s ambitious plans for the future.

The room was buzzing as familiar face auctioneer Goddard kept the energy high with his signature mix of jokes and charm. Guests went head-to-head in heated bidding wars over exclusive artworks, sports memorabilia and even a tribute piece to the late Maltese artist Mark Mallia. A t-shirt signed by none other than Lionel Messi auctioning at €24,000 and a surprise last-minute bid from the Vegas Legends founders Alex Tomic and Bylian Balinoff for EDO’s Maltese Falcon were among the night’s most sought-after highlights.

By the end of the evening, more than €103,000 was raised, funds that will go directly towards the Foundation’s global projects.

This year alone, support from SiGMA delegates has helped make possible initiatives such as:

  • Expanding a rural hospital in Peru, bringing vital healthcare to remote communities.
  • Building an MMA sports and learning centre in São Paulo, offering disadvantaged youth a safe space to train, learn and grow.

And the momentum isn’t stopping there. The SiGMA Foundation has already lined up a 2026 pipeline of projects spanning Ethiopia, Uganda, Peru, Guatemala, and the Philippines – ranging from clean water solutions and sustainable community hubs to safe schools and shelters for vulnerable people.

All this builds on the $935,400 raised between 2023 and 2024 through SiGMA’s charitable auctions. To top it off, SiGMA Group has pledged that a share of ticket sales from its flagship events will also go towards ESG and charitable initiatives.
