Social Care Standards Authority Appoints Ruth Sciberras As CEO
Former Aġenzija Sapport CEO, Ruth Sciberras has been appointed as the new Social Care Standards Authority’s (SCSA) Chief Executive Officer.
Sciberras has 25 years of experience within the sector, she’s assumed several positions related to the protection of children, victims of domestic violence, and persons with disabilities.
Sciberras was also the director of operations within Aġenzija Appoġġ and she a part of the Maltese delegation that helped the government draw up a number of abortion-related international agreements.
In addition to all this and following her position as CEO of Aġenzija Sapport, she worked within the Ministry for Social Policy and Children’s Rights.
