Maltese NGO, Moviment Graffitti, has announced its Whatsapp community to help followers stay up to date and to take action to “stop the destructive planning bills.”

“Yesterday we discovered that the horror they want to carry out in the planning sector does not stop at the bills that will dismantle all existing safeguards. They are also proposing three legal notices through which they will allow illegal developments, everywhere, to become legal,” wrote Moviment Graffitti on social media.

The NGO has criticised the Prime Minister for trying to portray the three legal notices as the protection of current construction projects when there are buildings that have been there for a long time that are also illegal.

Moviment Graffitti went on to explain that allowing the ODZ and UCA illegal buildings to become legal is an “unprecedented attack on our environment and our quality of life.”

The statement went on to read that the NGO is preparing to fight against those who want to destroy everything so that they can enrich themselves.
