Strong Winds Disrupt Travel As Fast Ferry Suspended And Gozo Channel Ferry Expecting Delays

Strong winds and rough seas have led to major disruptions for ferry services between Gozo and Malta, forcing cancellations and delays across multiple routes.
Gozo Highspeed services were suspended on Sunday evening due to rough seas, and all crossings scheduled for Monday morning, have also been cancelled. Travellers have been advised to check the service’s social media pages for updates regarding afternoon trips.
Ferry services from Valletta to the Three Cities and Sliema have also been suspended for the day as wind conditions continue to make crossings unsafe.
Meanwhile, the Gozo Channel remains operational, but voyages are being diverted to Cirkewwa South Quay, leading to possible delays in service.
Passengers travelling between Gozo and Malta are encouraged to plan ahead and stay informed about further disruptions.
