San Andrea School has taken a significant step forward in its international and inclusive education efforts with the launch of its Erasmus KA1 Project, “Seas Apart, Values Together: A Bridge for European Citizenship and Equal Opportunities.”

As part of the initiative, 20 students and four educators will travel to Guadeloupe in March 2026, where they will be hosted by OGEC Pensionnat de Versailles.

The project emphasises key educational priorities, including inclusion, diversity, environmental sustainability, language learning, and the use of digital tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

In alignment with these values, the school also introduced its Welcome Buddy Programme in October. The programme pairs newly enrolled students with peer mentors who guide them through their first weeks at school, offering social and emotional support while helping them navigate school routines, policies, and facilities.

Beyond practical assistance, the initiative encourages the development of meaningful peer relationships, boosts confidence, and promotes active participation in both academic and extracurricular activities.

Through these efforts, San Andrea School aims to foster a culture of empathy, leadership, and belonging, ensuring that every student feels welcomed, supported, and empowered from day one.

The Erasmus KA1 Project is funded by the European Union.
