Temperatures Set To Remain Above 41 Degrees For Another Week As Red Warning Still In Effect

Temperatures are expected to remain above the 41 degree mark for at least another week, as the recently issued red warning remains in effect.
Malta’s meteorological office is predicting highs of 41 degrees which feel like 42 throughout the weekend up until Monday.
On Tuesday, the forecast high is that of 42 degrees, feeling like 43, and Wednesday will be back to a high of 41.
The UV index hit 11 a few days ago, ranked at extreme, and it’s set to remain like that for the following week.
People are seriously being advised to avoid the sun, especially in the afternoon. Sunblock, hats, and protective clothing need to be worn at all times, especially between 12pm and 6pm.
