The Annual Scout And Guide Rally Is Back This Sunday In Valletta
The Annual Scout and Guide Rally is back and Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, will be presiding.
Spiteri Debono will be receiving salutes from hundreds of members of the Scout and Guide Associations, including Beavers and Dolphins, Cubs and Brownies, Guides and Scouts, Ventures and Rangers, Rovers and Senior Rangers, along with their Leaders and mascots, as they parade in full uniform along Republic Street.
This year’s rally will be led by the Association’s North Districts, who will also participating in the thanksgiving Mass at the Archbishop’s Curia at 9am.Sarria Street will be closed to traffic by 9.30am as other Scout and Girl Guide groups start arriving in Floriana to fall-in on the Granaries in preparation for the 10.45am march-off.
