Jean picked up an elderly man last night and returned back to the location after dropping him off, stating his client fell on the floor and cut open his head. The man didn’t want any help, according to Jean.
The taxi driver, in a state of panic, then offered to take Kyle to the elderly man’s apartment.
Upon arrival, the group rang all the apartments to open the common door, which was locked, but no one answered.
“That’s when I called 112 asking for help,” stated Kyle.
A neighbour then opened the common door, showing the group where the elderly man lives. They found the man lying on the floor in his own blood, but still conscious.
An ambulance arrived shortly after, and a medical team cleaned the man’s head and took him to Mater Dei.
“A big thank you to Jean the Turkish-Maltese who cared to save the life of a stranger and to the Macedonian neighbour who was the only one who answered the door & to all emergency responders. You are heroes!” said Kyle on social media.
