‘The Industry Has Opportunities For Anyone’: GamingMalta Heads To London For ICE 2023
Malta has become an epicentre of the global gaming industry, and now GamingMalta has set-up their own stand at one of the most important international festivals in London.

ICE London is a global gathering of gaming professionals – and it’s back with a bang with over 35,000 world-wide attendees.
GamingMalta is an independent non-profit foundation set up by the Government of Malta and the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), aimed at celebrating the best from Malta’s remote gaming sector globally, as well as being the key contact point with local relevant authorities to “improve Malta’s attractiveness as a jurisdiction and enhance the ecosystem surrounding the gaming industry”.
Following his recent top employer win, the CEO at Betsson Group, Jesper Svensson, shared his opinion on the growing industry and showed his gratitude for all the work that’s already underway.
”It meant a lot because it’s nice to have that type of recognition, we really want it to be a great place to work because it’s a fun industry, we want people to enjoy themselves – and I’m proud that we managed to win such an award,” Svensson said.
COO at Beyond Play, Jacqui Gatt was asked what advice she’d give someone who’s just starting out in the industry, and she sent a hopeful message to anyone ready to take the next step in their career.
”Just go for it, there’s so much opportunity, the industry has opportunities for anyone,” Gatt replied.
