Three Children Hospitalised After Multiple-Vehicle Crash In Żejtun

Three children were hospitalised yesterday afternoon after being involved in a multiple-vehicle crash in Żejtun.

The incident occurred at around 4pm along Vjal il-25 ta’ Novembru, Żejtun.

The initial collision happened between a Peugeot 3008 and a Chevrolet Matiz, with one of the cars also hitting a Mini One upon impact, driven by a 58-year-old woman from Msida. 

The Peugeot was being driven by a 38-year-old woman from Fgura, who also had two 9-year-old girls with her on board.

Meanwhile, the Chevrolet was being driven by a 44-year-old woman from Fgura, accompanied by a 7-year-old boy.

All were transported to Mater Dei Hospital for care for their injuries, apart from the 58-year-old woman. The three people in the Peugeot were later certified to be suffering from light injuries, while the two people in the Chevrolet are suffering from grievous injuries.

Police investigations are still ongoing
